Ask us anything before you book.

Whether it is a question about the boat, a date you are not sure we can cover, or someone in your group you want to check we can look after, it is quicker to ask than to guess. This page covers where the boat is, which channel suits which question, and what happens after you write. The enquiry form itself sits further down, on this page and on every other.

How to reach us

Three ways to reach us, and what each is good for.

Take whichever suits the question. None of them commits you to a booking, and no payment is taken at the enquiry step.

We also post on Instagram, which is worth a look before you write. It is not where enquiries are answered, though — for anything with a date in it, use one of the three above.

Where the boat is

Marina Gouvia, on the east coast.

Gouvia sits on Corfu’s east coast, a short drive north of Corfu Town, and it is where every one of our cruises begins and ends. You board at the pontoon, and you come back to the same pontoon at the end of the day — there is no transfer at the other end and no second meeting point to find. Open Marina Gouvia in Maps.

When we confirm your cruise we send you the meeting point and the time to be there, so that you arrive looking for one specific place rather than at a marina full of boats. What you are looking for is a 7.8-metre Technohull RIB with “Private Cruises Emerald” along her side.

There is parking at Marina Gouvia, and you are welcome to park there if you drive yourself. Transfers to the marina are not included in the cruise price. If you need help arranging one, tell us when you enquire.

If anything changes on the morning — your flight, your taxi, a slow breakfast — call or message us rather than worrying about it.

After you write

What happens once you send it.

We read it and reply: whether the day is free, a route that fits the time you have and the group you are bringing, and the total for your group. No payment is taken at the enquiry step, so there is nothing to settle in order to get an answer.

We reply the same day during 09:00–21:00; enquiries received after hours are answered the next day. Your captain answers WhatsApp and may be at sea when you write. Leave a number and the skipper will call, with the time confirmed to you.

An enquiry is a question, not a booking. You can ask about three different days and take none of them. You can ask whether the boat suits a group with a four-year-old in it, or someone who would rather not swim, and decide afterwards. If you do book and then change your mind, cancellation is free up to five days before the cruise.

If the sea is not suitable on the day, the cruise is rescheduled or refunded in full — which is the other reason a date you are unsure about is still worth asking about.

Worth putting in the first message

What to tell us when you write.

None of this is required to get an answer. It simply saves a round trip, because these are the things we would otherwise write back to ask.

Your dates, or the week you are here

A preferred day if you have one, or simply the range you are on the island. Either is a workable starting point.

How many of you there are

Up to seven guests come aboard, plus your skipper. The price is the total for the boat rather than a ticket each, so the number does not change it — but it does change what we would suggest.

Children, and their ages

Say how many children are coming and how old they are. A child life jacket is provided for every child aboard, in a size that fits, and parents stay responsible for their children during the day.

Anyone who would rather not swim

Non-swimmers should be declared in advance. They do not go into the sea without a life jacket and supervision, which is the whole reason for mentioning it early.

How long you would like to be out

Cruises run from two hours to a full eight-hour day. For children between two and six, four and six hours tend to suit; eight works with stops ashore rather than eight hours straight on the boat.

Anything that needs arranging

Special arrangements are agreed separately, before booking rather than on the morning. Towels are the one thing not aboard — those you bring yourself.

Before you enquire

Getting in touch

What is the quickest way to reach you?

WhatsApp, in most cases. Send your dates and how many of you there are and we can usually settle the shape of the day in a few messages. Phone suits a same-week date. The enquiry form suits a longer message, or a group with details worth writing down.

Where exactly do we meet you?

At the pontoon in Marina Gouvia, on Corfu’s east coast, a short drive north of Corfu Town. We send you the meeting point and the time when your cruise is confirmed, so that you are looking for one specific place rather than a marina full of boats.

Do we have to pay anything to enquire?

No. No payment is taken at the enquiry step. We reply with availability, a route worth doing and the total for your group, and you decide after that. If you book and then change your mind, cancellation is free up to five days before the cruise.

Can we ask questions without enquiring about a date?

Of course. Plenty of people write to us before they have booked their flights. If you want to know whether the boat suits your group, what the northeast coast is like compared with Paxos, or whether a four-hour cruise is enough, just ask. We would rather answer honestly now than have you book the wrong day.

How many of us can come?

Up to seven guests, plus your skipper — eight people aboard. There is one boat and one group at a time, so on your day it is not shared. The price is the total for the boat, so it does not climb with the number of you.

Which languages do you speak?

Your skipper speaks English, German and Greek, and you are welcome to write to us in any of the three. This site is written in English, and there is a Greek version of it as well.

When will you reply?

We reply the same day during 09:00–21:00; enquiries received after hours are answered the next day. Your captain answers WhatsApp and may be at sea when you write. Leave a number and the skipper will call, with the time confirmed to you.

We can help you work out the details of your day before you decide.
